Organic Fairy Tale Wool--100% Bioland organic wool batting combed and in its undyed, natural color.This is an ideal wool for doll stuffing from tiny peanut and pocket dolls up to full size baby dolls. It could also serve as core wool inside 3-D needle felted sculpture pieces that you don't want to waste colorful wool on. Build up your project with this as your core wool and then add the colorful wool to the outside layer.
WHY WE LOVE FILGES WOOL
Wollmanufaktur Filges Wool is a family run business in Germany. They produce sustainable, ecological and emission-free products, and have been Bioland-certified manufacturers of organic sheep wool since 1995. Since 2015, Filges has also been a member of the IVN (Internationaler Verband der Naturtextilwirtschaft, International Association of Natural Textiles).
Their wool comes exclusively from sheep raised in certified organic animal husbandry (kbT) in Germany. Their dyes come from organic plants, and they only use food-safe mordants many of us find in our pantry, alum and cream of tartar.
