Golden Soft Gel Medium are thinner than Heavy Body Colors. Mix with acrylic colors to produce a brilliant glaze. Soft gels can be used as a base for wet blending or as an adhesive for collage and mixed media. Gels are essentially colorless paint, as they utilize the same 100% acrylic polymers as acrylic paint. Soft Gel has the thinnest consistency of Golden's Gel Mediums.

Golden Matte Mediums extend acrylic paints while promoting even flow and leveling, maintaining the film's stability. These 100% acrylic polymer liquid mediums also decrease gloss and increase translucency. They can be thinned with water. Fluid Matte Medium is not intended for use as a final picture varnish.
